 Enjoy an uplifting evening of classical music beautifully mixed with spoken word. Featuring international pianist Mikael Petersson and Coventry Poet Laureate Emilie Lauren Jones.

This is a wonderful opportunity to book an unforgettable show for your venue. Words are weaved through melodies, plus there's a couple of stunning piano solos from a world class pianist.

 

Known for her beautiful imagery, Emilie's poetry offers an original view of the world. All this is sprinkled with amusing little anecdotes in between pieces.

The show contains original compositions as well as variations of traditional classical pieces specifically chosen to leave audience members filled with hope and positivity.

About Mikael Petersson:

Upon completion of his studies in his native Sweden and then at Birmingham Conservatoire, Mikael Petersson continued his studies with Prof Peter Feuchtwanger in London and in Masterclasses at Mozarteum Academy Salzburg. He has performed in Sweden, Germany, France, Austria and the UK – venues include Southwark Festival and St Martin-in-the-Fields in London and the Castle of Mauritzberg in Sweden. Mikael has appeared on radio and television and performed Ravel’s G major Piano Concerto in concert. He was a finalist in the Birmingham Accompanist of the Year Competition and semi-finalist in the Adilia Alieva Piano Competition near Geneva.
